I need some help anyone i have a migatronic 160 mig welder and it seem to work for 30 minutes and then it starts to play up the wire sounds like it is jamming up and it cuts the gas off the welder set up is correct and i am using 0.8mm wire i have used 2 torches and the liners are fine also the roller wheel for the wire is on 0.8 i dont know if anyone has had this problem before but any help would be appreciated thank you

not really sure about this one , just a thought , are you using your welders ampage more than 3/4 if so that could trigger it to run out of synk. as i said just a thought.There should be thermal overloads inside, normally attached to main transformer and or rectifier.
If one of these is starting to overheat the welder will start to "play up" and thermal may start to open,but not quite, you may need to replace.
Check temp of transformer and rectifier as it heats up
TURN POWER OFF, UNPLUG LEAD and feel transformer windings for heat condition and if there are any hot spots.
Feel for excessive heat along your torch
Make sure that all connections are tight and not overheating
BE VERY CAREFUL INTERNAL, there may be some voltage floating about even if it is unplugged and off
Are you doing heavy welding without much of a break?
Could also be exceeding duty cycle
