Mig welder on Ebay

There is someone on Ebay offering "new" gas/gasless migs on ebay for £99
The amp range is supposed to be 25 - 75 amps. I can't see any manufacturers name (the photo isn't very good) and the seller doesn't mention one.
Before I spend my hard earned pennies, does anyone have any experience of them?

Looks like SWP got sent some samples of new machines to test and are flogging them on so there will be no info on here about them at all.
Not a lot of money but at 75A max it's not a lot of machine either.

I can't see where the 25 amp is stated, cheep and cheerful but may do the job if its only the occasional car patch you are doing, no good for much else with the low top range.

Spares may be dodgy to get in the future so don't expect too much for your money.

I would be tempted to save another few quid and buy a nice second hand Clarke.. they pop up now and again.

Yes - it was me who asked the question. What I'm trying to do is get an independant view point about the machine. The seller will obviously think it's the best thing since electricity so asking them any more questions will probably be a bit pointless.
What I'm after is a very occassional use machine for when I don't want to get out my larger stuff as it's all kept a couple of miles from my house (along with some of my mini's). I'm also considering a second hand Clarke but most for sale recently have been for collection only and seem to have been miles away. I'm not in a fantastic hurry so I'll just wait till the right machine comes along, however I must admit the Ebay one has got me intrigued.

The seller may also be thinking ' what a load of rubbish, I will palm them off on Ebay'

You could buy one miles away if the seller agreed to you arranging your own courier, dead easy to do online and probably cost about a tenner with insurance, Hermes and Parcel to Go are 2 I have used and never had a problem.

Being intrigued can be the thin end of the wedge to a bad buy, my gut instinct would be to leave alone, it's too much of an unknown unless someone on here has one and backs it up as a good machine.
