mig welder clarke weld 110en turbo

hi every1 this is my first post on this forum. i got the clarke 110 en turbo welder for christmas a few years ago and have bin playin around with these last couple days. my question is has any 1 used this welder and do u think its good. ive done sum gd welds on 1.6mm sheet metal. but i think theres a problem with my welder. because i will set it up run a ok bead. then i will try and fine tune it for a slightly better run and it stops working and comes out crap. i think it might b the little bottle of gas i brought for it. any feed back would be much appricated.

If you can post some photos of the welds it would help enormously. Every chance it's a problem with the gas - the little bottle regulators can be a real pain.

None of us recommends them, they're absolute rubbish. It's near on impossible to set the gas flow accurately and once you finally have it's already run out.
You'll get about 10 mins of welding from each cylinder. Far better to use a refillable cylinder and a proper regulator.
Pub type co2 is cheap and is much more readily available than it used to be. Well worth a look if you have a supplier in your area or even a friendly pub landlord.
