MIG torch change

Hey, I managed to dig out my old MIG the other day for an upcoming job.
I have a MIG that I brough from machine mart yonks ago (don't judge me )
It comes with a torch that is about as long as my arm which means I have to drag it near me every time I want to move. I want to put a longer one on it. Only problem is it lookes like it has a build in hose if that makes sense. Is there any easy way I could get a proper tourch, hose etc put on it.

Yes, do a euro torch conversion if the machine is worth spending the money on.

The hose can be changed easily, you wont do any damage taking the necessary bits apart. All the gas hose, leccy cable, outer sheath, and liner can be bought from machine mart, but research first because if a euro torch conversion is comparable (with cost of torch) then indeed it is the better option

Best thing I ever did was to put a 5 metre Parweld torch from Weldquip on my mig, so much better but not all machines are able to push the wire 5 metres so best to check

Absolutely agree with Steve. 2 Parweld torches over the last 20 years on my Cebora - only fitted the new one this year as I needed to 'go longer' due to Implanted Cardiac Defibrillator installed in me The extra metre away from power source was 'useful'. Also, Weldequip were brilliant to deal with & excellent service/delivery times too!

Don't have the experience that the above guys have but I converted to euro from the standard torch and went for the Parweld one (3m) and it's really well made, far far superior to the original. Weldequip was super helpful when I emailed him and that's where I got it from because of that.

Ditto that! I fitted a euro converter and torch to my old ESAB Compact125 - it gave the machine a completely new lease of life. Definitely worth the money and effort.

I got all my bits from Weldequip too - great service!
