MIG tips - standardized or different

I've got a Murex torch - do I need Murex tips or are MIG torch tips standard across makes?

Generally tips are standard for the torch size. I had a little search around the forum and couldn't find any mention of Murex ones being special.

From a vague memory of using a murex torche, i think they are the same as binzel type ones, which are fairly standard issue.
Any idea what your torch is rated at?

The torch came with the welder and the welder is 180A, so I guess the torch is at least that.

There should be a sticker on the euro connector body with MX253, MXA363 etc, should be able to work out current rating from that - if it's still legible!

It says MXA363, but I think it's a very old version if there is such a thing, the gas diffuser is part of the swan neck.
