Hi,
Just wondering what I should be looking at if a welder is always live as soon as the power is turned on. I can hear the contactor click, gas solenoid is always open and the wire feeds continuously but speed can be altered with the wire feed knob.
It does the same when in TIG mode but no wire feed obviosuly.
It's an all in one MIG/TIG/ARC welder.
I guess it would be related to the PCB, i've disconnected the mig gun and TIG gun so I know the switch wasn't shorting out.
Anyone ever here of something like this happening before if so what components were at fault?
I would love to get this welder going, i'm more interested in the TIG side of things as it is AC/DC with HF and pulse.
Thanks
