Hey lads iv dose some searching ad so far found nothing.

Could someone tell me how to convert my hobby small gas tube to accept a pub size argonshield gas bottle

I just use a push fit fitting maybe 1/8 or 1/4bsp and a barrel adaptor to the reg.
Home made stuff really.

Depends what reg you have. Can you measure the barb fitting where the pipe would normally connect.

Yehh that's no problem ill do that in the morning thanks buddy

But I am thinking of buying a new reg as mine has seen better days..


Also where do I stand with having gas bottles, I have an oxy cutting kit that my grandad had and left me when he passed, he got them from a friend and always had them filled by a local company that iv used before to keep them but its now gone and they are now empty..

If your buying a new reg anyway check out weld equip link at the top of the screen.

I get bottles for £22 per refil with no rental.

There'll be someone on here who can advise you best local supplier.

I got my twin gauge reg on flee bay for £22 it's an swp one.
