Mig gas or no gas

Hello All,
I am new to this forum but have been browsing through the posts for some time trying to make a decision on which welder to buy.

My main objective is welding car body panels, I have a couple of old mercs a one of them needs a fair bit of welding on the underside. Most of the welding will be done outside as the garage isn't quite big enough.

I have a budget of about £200 and am not sure if I can do the work without gas.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Gasless is difficult on bodywork as gasless runs hotter. Using gas will be much easier.

You will probably need to spend about £300 unless you find a used welder.
