I need to return a mig gas bottle to the main suppliers, but the company that supplied it have gone bust. Does anyone know of somewhere in the Portsmouth area that will take this bottle?
If it's a BOC or Air Products cylinder any agent will accept the return. If it's an independant 'pub' type CO2 cylinder them I'm not sure (another downside to using CO2!).

thank you for your reply. the gas bottle is SiGas 20 argon mix full size, app. 5ft. high, mig welding gas bottle. this causes a problem with transport, so if you can help further, i would be grateful.
You could try your Local Household recycling (Tip), and tell them it's worth some money. If there anything like our local one they'll be tripping over themselves to help get it out of your car !!!!!
Hi If your cylinder was sourced from a registered supplier surely you must be paying rental on it, as all BOC and Air Products supply cylinders remain the property of the company?
