Looks the part, and cheap really too, in the grand scheme of things.
Take the demo, soon tell if its pants.
Having the removable torch/leads is where the kemppi fails.
On an unimportant side note, i love the way they show these machines, put the welder in the buggy, and off they go..... what about the leads, overalls, headshield, rods, gas.....
Same with the miniarc, blokey on the box, nice little welder hung over his shoulder, walking along, no mask etc

25kilo iirc...impressive...until you put a roll of wire in it...hey presto, 40 kg
From the sounds of it, the demo is; a bloke brings it along, lets you do a few welds then takes it away. Thats no good, we need chance to test it Lorch stylee.
Duty cycle aint the best but its not going to be hammering away all day like the sets in the workshop are.

As it happens, i spoke with Pennine fella today, they will send the rep round with it, to 'show' us it, but won't lend us one to try/break. Not much use if you can't have a propper go with it is it.
Not much available that will work off 110V.
Aint much help to say i've spent 6K with them in the last month.
