I'm intrigued by the idea of mig brazing, something I wasn't aware of till reading about it on here, thinking it would be less liable to burn holes in thin car body work and allow use of zinc coated steel. What is required in the way of equipment - I've seen some of the Sherman mig welder ads say suitable for mig brazing which suggests others are not suitable? Do you need a spool gun or adjustable inductance -or would my elderly Cebora pocket Turbo 130 be suitable? After having mixed results from the Cebora, I've found it will produce good welds provided the gun hose is kept almost straight - any bend in it seems to cause erratic wire feed resulting in some horrible looking results.....
