Excellent. Yep, one is lowest. You'll probably be ok up to number four before you start blowing fuses but that will easily weld 3mm steel plate. Have fun!Many thanks Julian all sorted now regulator was wound right out lol
And the power was not quite full on I'll have a practice tomorrow as
I haven't welded for at least 10 years I take it as setting one is lowest power
Not really, if you have a two stage regulator. Flow meters are more important for TIG but if you set the regulator to about 12 l/min you should be fine. Set the flow with the trigger depressed though as it will drop when its in use and go back up again when you stop, so you set it when its flowing. Have you tried it yet? now you have gas and power settings?Would it pay me to also get a flowmeter to go on the regulator
