If anybody in the Teesside area is interested, Gaffneys welding supplies are having a clear out, All sorts of welding related stuff piled up on the shop floor, Everything from shirts to gloves,15Kg reels of dual shield wire. Various tubes of tig rods,welding rods,Boots, tips nozzles etc etc etc,I got some of the dinse adapters for using an arc machine to do tig, Today just picked up a 15Kg roll of Lincoln Supramig 0.8mm wire still boxed and in it's plastic wrapping for £5-00.It seems to be an on-going sort out, So I will call in again next Saturday, Anybody local,might be worth a browse to find something.

I was there 2 weeks ago to do some demos with one of their reps (Ray)

I couldn't believe how cheap some of the stuff was being sold for. There was a customer at the Trade counter just as I got there and he left with lots of stuff off the pile. One of them was some 4043 Tig wire, brand new in the box. He paid £2.50 for it!

It's part of a on-going thing to turn 'old' stock around, by Linde/IWS group. So it might be worth looking at any of your local gas and gear centres and IWS/Leengate distributors. You can see a list of them on the nexus and boc websites
