For all their faults, I've just had a bit of a result from dealings with Microsoft.
We bought a Dell laptop back in 2014, that came pre bundled with MS Office 2013.
The last few weeks it started playing up, the start menu went wonky and left mouse click stopped working. It seemed from a bit of digging this was down to a windows issue so I reinstalled Windows 10.
Unfortunately this meant I had lost Office 2013, and I couldn't find the key that came with the laptop (Not sure if I ever actually had one?) I got in touch with MS support and after a bit of checking (I still had the invoice that showed it came with the laptop) they reinstalled my copy of office for me, and associated it with my wife's live account, so hopefully shouldn't need to have to do it again.
It all came as a bit of a surprise, I'd almost resigned myself to installing Open Office or resorting to buying office 365.
