MGB Spring Pan Repair

Hi,

I've noticed some holes appearing in the donut shaped rings which form part of the spring pan - is this something I can repair?

Malcolm, I've noticed that you undertook some repairs to this area in your MGB albeit to strengthen the suspension - any thoughts on how best to replicate the ring section?

You can but new ones of those from people like Moss. Nasty things - quite thick and a complicated shape, so repairing them would be a pain.

I had some good ones knocking around and used them, but if there are holes chances are the metal has become quite thin and would need a lot of repair work.
