Mezzanine storage

Since we have a storage unit that is pretty much double height it was decided to make a mezzanine at the back to store all the car bits that are taking up parking space
First was a beam to span the front opening

Then some columns

And with a bit of help from a fork lift and a few bolts it all went OK

The floor beams were c section from a local company and one we had some more columns towards the back and steel sections on the walls in went the floor beams

As soon as the flooring was down up went lots of boxes and bits

Once the office was taken down in went more floors beams and flooring

There is a gap left for the stairs and it needs a safety rail at the front but for now it's working out well
