Metric fine pitch bolts

Can anyone recommend a source for M10 x 30mm fine pitch (1.25mm) bolts.

I only need 6 of these but the couple of places I've seen that stock them want £2-3 per bolt. I know £12 isn't a huge amount but it's criminal when you can get 50 of the coarse thread ones for £2.50

A pitch for the car industry I was told. You will find seat belt fixings on most cars are 10mmx1.25 pitch.
I have a few in a tin of "might come in handy someday" bits if you wana me to post em

If you can wait 'til Tuesday I will have a look at work as we use a lot of seat belt fixings. I will have to measure them and let you know.

Shame Jones` in Surbiton went isnt it. I`m pretty sure I have some, i`ll have a look tommorow, think i`ve still got your number if i do. If not i`ve found a place local for fasteners thats good, I can pick you up a few.

Jap bikes do seem to use a lot of fine pitch threads don't they, I bought a set of fine pitch taps a few years ago when I regularly worked on bikes.

Lots of cars and bikes use constant pitch for M8 and above, i.e M10x1.25.
I bought a box of M12x1.25 a few years ago, came from one of the online fastener stockist, cost about a fiver for 100.

Just had a look and it was probably fastfixdirect. They have what you want but they want 32 quid a hundred.
I only have one invoice here and it for boxes of 200 M10s and was £7.50
a box, which is now £14!

I never knew Jone's existed until yesterday, I asked a couple of locals about where to get the bolts and they suggessted trying there. Spent an hour trawling the streets of Surbiton before I found out it had closed down !

If you do have some to spare then that would be great, I may have a day or 2 off next week so could pop over and pick them up.

It was a great loss when they went, along with wimbledon metals that were next door. Think it`s all flats behind now, a detective shop, and something equally useless. Was opposite the Texaco garage.

I`ll go have a dig now and see what I can find.

I didn't notice where you were. Try looking up RA Poole in Tadworth. They supply stainless fasteners to a lot of places. I used to call in at the Tadworth place, but someone told me they have a place in Chessington now?
I would be very suprised if they didn't have metric fine, while waiting for my order I was looking at a load on a forklift and a lot of the addresses on parcels were the well know bike stainless suppliers.

Not many of the bike stainless bolt kits contain fine threads. Usually the bolt kits are for engine cover bolts, typically M6 x 1.0 and the like. Disc carrier bolts are usually not fine though the caliper mount ones often are.
