I've used those black gearwrench ratchet spanners and I wasn't impressed. They're not "bad" for the money, but they are the cheap range and therefore made to a price...
Gearwrench do their premium grade chrome stuff at a far higher price. I've never used any, but I'm sure it's as good as anything else on the market.
Just beware of falling into the premium vs budget range trap...
I have some Halfords pro swivel ratchet spanners, I bought them as shop soiled quite cheap but I've used them enough now to be really impressed with their quality. Never stripped a ratchet out; and the swivel heads are still stiff - my main bone of contention with cheaper swivel heads!
"Expert" by facom is absolute junk these days.
