Metalflake's new website...

I have used Metalflake in the past but found the web site hugely annoying. Dozens of items 'out of stock' that you have to wade through and the dark colour scheme made it hard work. So I was pleasantly surprised today to visit and see a very fresh and simplified restyle had been undertaken.

Unfortunately, although it looks clearer it seems harder than ever to find stuff. And all the oos items are still there. Maybe it's not optimised for mobile phones, but a bit of a swing and a miss in my view.

Wow. Interesting to compare prices then and now. I suppose the fact that a mini spray gun hasn't gone up in price much is down to most modern ones being Chinese imports, whereas the consumables are European manufactured.

What is strange is that when I was price checking something for my thread on stonechip on the Paints forum I was taken to the old site, but just now it's the new one again.

I sold something on ebay last year and got an email from a bloke with a familiar name, well he gave
his christian name and where he was from, it turned out it was a bloke who worked in Calbrook
Cars/Metalflake/Southern Cycles.

I still have the Glowble that I bought when I got that price list;-)
