I seen this stuff the other day in the motor spares place,and just thought if it would be ideal for filling alloy wheels instead of bodyfiller.Apparently you can sand it,drill it,tap it etc.Anyone used it.

Have used it for fixing a radiator fixing lamp crack in gear box and fixing slate worksurface together its great stuff neaver used it on ali but why do you need to fix a ally is it just chiped rim wouldnt like to do struteral repairs
If it's just for filling small dinks yr better off with filler really, easier to sand.
I've used it a fair bit, moulding on handlebars for powdercoat, rebuilt a broken thread boss, kept a car going when an ally chunk broke off taking a coolant stub etc.
JB Weld is more fluid than some, takes longer to set. Others start going off in a few mins but seem a bit coarser.

Yeah its just to fill some scuffs on my alloys,as they could do with a refurb now,just thought it would be a bit tougher than filler around the rim,especially when tyre replacement time comes.

look up devcon plastic steel its metal filled they also do plastic aluminium and plastic :stainles steel. its good strong suff just rough the surface up to give a good key
