He's not a bad guy, getting on a bit thoHa ha. Poor old Kent.
Just jesting buddy.
Yours was better still mate. Those older analog ones were getting on for industrial use and a totally different design. More pricey too iirc. The newer ones are more aimed at home users who want a decent unit to cover there projects.
Yeah. Different league again Ste.Indeed Richard, the arc was way more stable than the Rtec, been spoilt these days with the Dynasty and i'm never going back
Yeah. Different league again Ste.
I nearly bought the 200dx as was a gorgeous unit. Would love to try the 210 out.
And the Miller panel is probably the best most logical interface out of them all. I'm useless for stuff like that and usually need a manual. I literally walked to the dynasty dialled in and had it flying down a plate. Usability goes along way for a simple guy like me. Kemppi is beyond useless for this feature and the manual comes out weekly which is surprisingly just as uselessI'm really pleased with it Rich, the arc frequency adjustability is a godsend

Oh yeah it's a dream to work out compared to the Mls panel. I only went for the mls due to its power advantage and when I eventually did work out how to use it, it welded really nicely. Every time I look at the panel it reminds me of the London Underground map. Lots of meaning less colourful lines. If that DX 200 had another 10% on the current range I would of been swayed towards blue for sure. Just because it's panel was excellent. Better than anything I've used before imo. 10 seconds and I'd worked out enough to approach any joint.Yeah it's pretty simple except for the hidden menu !!!
I recently had a go on a Kempii 2300mls and that took a little getting used to !!!
