Wife laid up with covid, no Christmas in this house I think, unless she dramatically improves overnight. I hope so as she looks forward to it. We were going to our son’s, but his partners mother is living with them & at 91 & not in the best of health we had to cry off. Covid would finish her off for certain.

I’ve spent most of the day deep cleaning our bathroom and trying to make our house look like a jingle bomb hasn’t gone off. But have just sat down with an enormous salt beef sandwich thanks to a lovely gift from our neighbour opposite. Not sure I’ll have room for the main event now!

Another covid enforced quiet Christmas here. Was supposed to be going to my sisters for dinner, but looks like I'll be cooking as I'm getting better but my wife is coughing like a 40 a day girl, after I took the season of giving too far and passed on my covid
Hopefully everyone else's Christmas is going better.
