well, no idea what was wrong with it...tried th reset and it closed...then opened itself again a few seconds later and refused to move again so i disconnected the motor, closed it and left it disconected...

, its nice to see that old familiar yellow blob in every thread, bit like a pair of old worn slippers, comfy, warm, they dont really stop you from stubbing your big toe on the sideboard and can be a bit slippery when wet. but apart from those few problems, they are the answer to all your footing questions. 
Oh yeah, one other thing, I forgot to mention the smell !!
