Meddings MF4 reverse switch

That's what I am trying to find out! The switch looks original but is a straight rotary switch - on - off - on and not forward - off - reverse as it should be. No other terminals. 3 terminals in, 3 terminals out.

I cannot see how a piece of the switch is missing or been changed. Was hoping that someone would have a picture of a switch to confirm its correct.

I would say that's not a reversing switch then. So if it's the original switch the drill wasn't designed to reverse, if the drill was designed to reverse then the switch has been changed.

and how many times would u be able to do that in a pillar drill when half the stuff u snap is on a machine or on a car

I just got a MB4, originally 3 phase, but no motor. Put in a single phase motor an eventually figured out wiring so it now works. There were no wires attached to switch so I traced what terminals were connected in the forward and reverse positions and then deduced live and neutral feed and corresponding outputs. My terminal numbering was random. A few pics to illustrate..
