Hi lads new to the fourm gave a quick browse and seems to be alot in it.
Anyway I little background info we are agricultural contractors and have made alot of our own equipment over the years getting better all the time.
Now that the winter is approaching the farm work is getting quiter and people have mentioned they would like to buy machines off us.
So if I'm going to make things to sell I want to make them a bit more professional.
Hence the thread title for instance if I am making a frame out of 4 inch box in a 24 Inch square instead of cutting the corners at 45 and each corner being 24 inches If I was to cut at 20 degrees at someing like 17 inches in length and having the frame made out of 8 parts instead of 4 at the 45 degrees.
Im not sure if I'm explaining that right anyways there must be a way to find the angle I want to do that and a way to mark that angle and transfer it onto the steel I want to cut.
Thanks
