Measurement tools?

Hi all,

Anybody have a recommendation for reputable brands/models of steel rule, measuring tape and caliper?

After these three tools but don't just want to grab random brands. Ideally certified accurate so that the rule and tape will both measure the same?

I got a 'Moore & Wright' digital caliper quite a while back and it's been excellent, now it's branded M&W though made in China, surprise surprise, I'm assuming they get all their stuff made elsewhere nowadays, but presume it's to their spec. this one came with a calibration cert too, I think it was under 30 quid so decent value and has done the trick and held up over a number of years.

For the rule and tape, do you want both the big millimetres that count in 12's and the small ones that count in 10's?

If you only want the small ones, the choice can be more limited.
