I had a dufus moment last year when I got the excellent Simon's Exhausts in East Kilbride to make me a straight through, side exit stainless steel exhaust for my L200 pickup. All good, and change from £180.
Problem is that the spare wheel is normally suspended from the chassis, but mine was in the tub as I'd just been off-roading. So the "straight through" was straight, i.e. straight through where the wheel was supposed to be hanging
I can get stainless angles and straights easily enough but will I be able to mig them with stainless wire and argoshield light? I could try the TIG setting on my machine but I don't currently have a pure argon bottle and it's not worth renting one for this job.
