MCB trips

32 type B is ok with cooker rings but trip’s when oven is turned on. Nothing wrong with oven. Do I need to get a 32 type C mcb?

A B type should be fine for an oven, did it work ok previously?
Does it trip with just the oven on?

Have you tried switching the cooker unit several times just in case oxidation or poor contact is the problem?

How old is the oven,

Wondering if it's on its way out.
Parents old oven used to trip out on heat up. But once over 100drgrees seemed to sort itself out.

presumably your talking rcd not mcb . the majority of faults on oven elements are earth leakage

Wahoo! On and off a few times and it’s perfect now. Thanks ever so much everyone who replied.

It was just the oven, grill and rzings were fine. Only a couple of years old and little use, ceramic top. Just came the **** to annoy me.
