to be honest newer engines run a lot hotter than older engines and are very good at accelerated warm up cycles (some even have electric water pumps that only kick in when a set temperature is reached) so that may be why mayo is a thing of the past.engines never produce this emulsion when they are new or even a few years old so if they do it there is a reason, usually poor breathing system

monte-- no- gos that was my exact first thoughts ----------the oil filler tube was a big plastic thing iirc down the front and got so blocked you couldnt get oil down it,90s Maestro/Montego 'S' series engines were really prone to it even from new, just a poor design but it took them years to even attempt a fix on them. I think one of them was to cover the oil filler tube.
Yeah, that's about right ime.
But, it'll take longer than 5 miles to 'boil' off the water and eliminate condensation - I'd be saying around 15-20 every week or so should see it right.
