I had to replace my worn out Hoffman to keep my insurance company happy , I replaced it with a Stenhog after breaking out the base , replacing it with a new concrete pad the depth of the lifts base below the finished floor level with a drain installed . When the lift had been installed the floor was finished so that everything was level . So much better than having to drive or push a car over but still low cars could be a problemThat looks ok…
i have an old 3phase Hoffman….never been a mins trouble….
when it goes in the next w/shop the base will be in the floor not on it…
i find it diff to push cars over the base lip…..mines about 35 mm high….
ended up making long ramps from wood to get over it…
the other prob was low sports cars…had to drive em on wooden ramps to get the arms under the sills..

Had one of these at a place I worked and my only gripe was the rubber pads were made from the cheapest rubber none to manThis is the one I’m getting, not sure how it compares with the one you quoted, but it’s from a German company, has loads of back up and spare parts, and I can’t find anything better for the money. And I’ve been looking for a while.
