Maxi Gas butane

Bought a job lot of "empty" 13kg gas bottles the other day. One turned out to be nearly full so I thought I would get a cheap butane regulator and use it up in my barbie. Trouble is, it's a Maxi Gas bottle and I can't find any trace of a supplier if I wanted a refill any time. Anyone know what happened to them or any other supplier who accepts their bottles?

Are you having difficulty getting a regulator or just worried about refills?

Assuming it's the clip-on type, I've seen 3 sizes, 21mm (e.g. Shell), 20mm (e.g. Calor) and 25mm (very rare).

Ring round a few suppliers, some may take your bottle just to get you on their books.

It takes a 20mm clip-on regulator, same as Flogas I believe. Plenty of those on Ebay. I will ring round gas suppliers tomorrow as you suggest.
