The time has come for the cave roof to be renewed - the original felt [which wasn't the thickest in the first place] is splitting and allowing water to be blown in with the current spate of storms.
My initial thought(s) were to cover it with profile sheeting [I'll be getting someone local to do it as I'm not as fit as I was
], but a pal who used to be in the building trade sent me a link to this stuff. I wondered if anyone e.g. @roofman had any experience of using it as an alternative - he reckons the profile stuff will be hellish noisy in heavy rain. What'd you reckon, lads? 
Not decided on colour yet, this'll give you an idea though.
