Looking at a little side line production type thing, making boxes for a mate to put some gubbins in.
Basically, I will be needing to bend some 2mm Alloy Sheet into boxes, punch some holes then powder coat them.
The bending/folding is covered, I think!
Powder Coating is covered, when the kit arrives!
Punching the holes is where I draw a blank... I've been looking at Shop Presses, Arbour Presses and Fly Presses, and its all a little confusing as to what will fit what and more importantly, what won't!
The holes I will be needing to make are;
2x 24mm circular holes for Connectors
1 or 2x DB25 sized holes
1x 50mm x 30mm Cutout for Connector
There will also be a 50mm Square appeture on the front of the box, along with either a 40mm/60mm/80mm circular hole for a fan unless it's possible to punch some horizontal/vertical openings around 2mm width x 40/60/80mm?
Hopefully some of you kind folk will be able to guide me along in the right direction so I can further annoy SWMBO a little more by purchasing more tooling...
Thanks,
Steve
