A tenner could still be a step too far for me buying a torch bulb
I normally try to "accidently" include things like that in an order at work

I have a 6d that ive had for, umm, over 20 years.
I looked at the led conversions, and, pretty much concluded, that, for the cost, i could buy a whole new torch that would be brighter, smaller, cheaper, etc.etc.
Im not going to junk the 6d, but im unconvinced that spending £40 or so on a new bulb for it is the best plan.
is it just me that thinks LED is a second best to a good old bulb and projecter lense...ive got a mini maglite from MAC tools of yesteryear and a recent type torch that now has LED and its not a patch on the old type and now gives off a blue tinge light.
do they get Ken going toothey light up the Barbie and kill the wildlife in one go
Im a bit of a torchaholic. Ive got loads of maglites but never felt the need to upgrade to an LED version. Ive seen the kits and the already done ones. Ive got one of those CREE led jobs and is it better? maybe?
Ive got a couple of those 50 million candlepower (?) car battery jobs...........now they do light up the sky...........but you can only just pick them up
Ive also got a few old Tilley Lamps.......love em..........they light up the Barbie and kill the wildlife in one go
ME TOO AS WELLIm a bit of a torchaholic.
do they get Ken going too

MY excuse is if a jumbo ever needs to land on my drive at night, I will be able to cope marking the runway.
yeah worth it for that if nothing elseI run an LED conversion in my maglight, it paid for itself many times over with the improved battery life.
