An emphatic YES!
We have done a few 3Ds and my "crowd control" edition (6D). Difference is marked.
Wife did it, would you like where she got them from etc pal?
Snooch
I don't know about the led upgrade but I once lost my small maglight, found it 6 months later in the expansion tank in the loft, wiped it down and it still worked, not a drop of water inside it

is it just me that thinks LED is a second best to a good old bulb and projecter lense...ive got a mini maglite from MAC tools of yesteryear and a recent type torch that now has LED and its not a patch on the old type and now gives off a blue tinge light.
I think it depends on the LED, I've got a Lenser, that's a brilliant white light, a Petzel head torch that's white, but my wife's got a cheaper version that changes the colour of things & makes plants sort of go flourescent, with a blue tingeis it just me that thinks LED is a second best to a good old bulb and projecter lense...ive got a mini maglite from MAC tools of yesteryear and a recent type torch that now has LED and its not a patch on the old type and now gives off a blue tinge light.

A tenner could still be a step too far for me buying a torch bulbI thought so too, but if you read down the listing, they are high priced due to low stocks, normally around £10
