Machinist wanted

Anybody up for machining a length of 30mm dia round steel bar for me on a lathe. Basic stuff, just a few steps in it.
Im building a log splitter, but i havnt bought anything except for the motor, but i now i find i need to have the splitter shaft machined. I thought id ask before i buy the rest of the bits but cant get it machined.
sort of getting my act together before i buy the rest of it.

Not saying that I am in a position to do it for you but if you post up even a fag packet drawing and an indication of what the shaft does / material type you will get more of a positive response.

It really isnt rocket science, its a bit of 32mm dia mild steel round bar,around 300mm long , machined at either end ,down to 30mm to carry a cone splitter on one end and a double pulley on the other .also the 32mm bit in the middle stops the endlfloat within the two the pillar bearings, as i say , not difficult. I just need a willing machinist,When i get a mo, i'll knock up a drawing.
