Machining Requirements!?

It's the sort of thing we could do. Not CNC, just a bit of setting up, nothing complicated or too time consuming, and worth it for 30 of them. Would need a bit more detail though. Surprising what you can do manually, if by manually you mean an omnimill, a holbrooks lathe, a ward turret lathe and a corona radial drill!

I have a feeling i know what you are thinking, a fixture and a 4 jaw? A few comments here have not understood the axis problem with achieving a square shoulder where the spigot meets the head. Square to the heads axis i should say. This is why i went for a 2 piece solution.

I'm thinking two piece too, but angled vices or maybe tilt the bed of the mill etc to deal with the offset.
