Obviously the sensible thing is to have a huge workshop, but, in the real world...
What do you do with machines that don't get used every day, and need space around them when they are?
I'm thinking more wood tools than metal. Where the job may be larger than the tool, so you need space, but don't want it in the middle of the floor all the time.
My Planar thicknesser is on wheels, but that is relatively light.
I think I've seen tables with cams that lever down the wheels for movement alone.
Anyone have much experience in this area?
