Best read up details on lathesdotcodotuk site?Would anyone have the spec or ideally the motor info plate for a m300 lathe, 3 phase.
Thanks
Did have a look and only know its 2.2kw, but want actual spec to know shaft size and rpm, motor code.Best read up details on lathesdotcodotuk site?
Perfect thanks, looks right, was trying to see if it was a 230/415, do you run yours off an inverter if so which ?How’s this?

Yep, I run mine off a weg inverter plugged in to a 13a socket. Never blown a fuse yet.Hi, no I have 3 phase so no need for inverters here. Plenty of others use inverters on their machines so someone on here will be able to help
@scottmk1 has provided a clear photo. It shows an IEC 90 frame motor. 4 pole, 1420 RPM, 2.2kw (but some school models may be lower power). Standard dimensions for 90 frame motors can be found online.Did have a look and only know its 2.2kw, but want actual spec to know shaft size and rpm, motor code.
Yeah thanks I'd already started looking see weither I had one spare. Cheers. Will have a look at those inverters@scottmk1 has provided a clear photo. Some were dual voltage but not all, guessing it depends what they could get hold of at the timePerfect thanks, looks right, was trying to see if it was a 230/415, do you run yours off an inverter if so which ?
Unsure on year it i think 1983, I've checked motor and it is 230/415. I've ran it up on my phase converter just takes a bit to get going on high rpm@Jacktegla what year is your M300? - most (if not all) motors should support star or delta configuration.
I used a Huangyang VFD schematic attached to support all the original switchgear - I just have mine set to a fixed 50Hz...
