I "found" a couple of XP era laptops that were migrating towards the scrap pile.
Sure enough, stuffed full of seemingly good 18650 cells (ive only found one bad so far)
Ill pick the best ten (they are all LG branded) and stick them in one of these (just purchased) -
...and burn up my £100 tool for the sake of a few quid?
You may recall that i had problems with a branded battery a while back - thats still not resolved, as the replacement pcb has, i think, fallen into a black hole, but this is from a different seller, so i may actually get some progress on this one.
But, yeah, if it works, £14.somthing delivered with the taxes paid for another (potentially) working M18 battery "seems" like a good idea...
(im aware the product link above does not have the correct spot weld tabs, and theres probably a load more wrong, but, hey, it might work?)
