Lynxpak 200?

I've been looking at this on eBay as it intrigued me. I can find nothing about this model online. Does anyone have any experience or opinions? Hull is miles away from me so it's unlikely I'll actually buy it, but it does look interesting.

Hi, Hopefully someone can help me i have just bought a boc autolynx 100 and was wondering if anyone can tell me what the knobs and buttons do on the welder? Many thanks Matt

All the other autolynxes are very good at low currents for thin stuff. But the 200 amp maximum ( if that is what the max is for that machine) might suggest that the low end is compromised? Why not ask the seller to see if there's a data plate...

Oh I did ask - I forgot to say. It has a 40A nominal minimum, which from the photograph in the thread eddie49 posted (some serious knowledge there), if I've interpreted the tiny pixels correctly, is the same as the Autolynx 100 (40A at 14V?). Strange since the Lynxpak 200 has 40A at 17V. The selector dial on the front looks as though they tried to make it semi-automatic for setting up. It seems the Autolynx 100 is a rara avis as well, to judge by the lack of replies to Matt!

Ebay add says it's 110v but that data plate says 3 phase.

I presume there are jumper links to be set to obtain the 3 voltage types on the data plate...

Thanks, I hadn't realised the autolynx 100 had such a high minimum - the later autolynxes had 20A minimum... perfect for car (auto) material
