Lux 2b hydraulic gate rams

Hi all,in my workshop store i have a pair or the above hydraulic rams and motor/pumps.I do not have the control panel.These are brand new as far as im aware.
Does anyone on here know what the connections are to these motors,i assume a start/run capacitor will be needed for a start.
I intend to use these in the fabrication of a table lift to move heavy items on to the workbench,similar in principle to a fork lift.

I have tried searching for info on these but to no avail.

All advice appreciated.

If they're gate rams, they'll be either 12v or 24v and wont have enough guts to lift anything

Hi,these are high powered units capable of 300kg push and are definately fitted with 240v 1/3 hp hydraulic motor pumps.

Lux 2B rams are capable of opening and closing a maximum 300kg leaf weight. It doesnt take much force to shove a gate that weighs 300kg. I don't think they will do what you want them to do.
If a couple of you stand against the leaf while it is opening, you will be able to stop the ram operating.

What's leaf weight? Would they work for a scissor type (Just an X not more) motorcycle lift? Our bikes weigh no more than 200kg at the moment, should be albe to lift, say 250kg bike..?

Was trying to design this in my head last night when I was trying to sleep....

What's leaf weight?

The leaf is the gate. And all of the 300 kg is supported on the hinges so the rams only have to overcome the friction in the hinges and probably a little bit more.

I have since found out these rams work at a hydraulic pressure of 20bar and are capable of a 3000N (300KG) push.
So they should be suitable as a lift type jack.
I am going to try and rig them up without a control panel for testing.
