screwfix ones are highly recommended by me https://www.screwfix.com/p/lap-gu10-led-light-bulb-345lm-5w-10-pack/1402v
At this rate NORWEB profits will be down next year.
yes but add the cost of the new light will take 3 years to recoupe the money for the light but at leaast you get it back unlike most of the items people buy
I was in Screwfix today and they had some nice one's on show and on offer, think they were only about £12 ish or so...at least they are good on returning faulty itemsThread hijack but
To be fair the ones I were looking at came with a 3 year warranty, so if they did fail early it would (hopefully) just be my time to replace them. - beaten to it by @brightspark , cheers fellas.I was in Screwfix today and they had some nice one's on show and on offer, think they were only about £12 ish or so...at least they are good on returning faulty items
Pardon me if I take your advice on LED bulbs with a pinch of salt, you incorrectly stated earlier in this thread that they don't do GU10's bigger than 5watt, I have 7watt in the kitchen.buy the enlite bulbs then 60 degree angle and far brighter than the rubbishy 35 decree 50 watt halogen bulbs
Halogen bulbs were banned on 1st September, so you better be quick before the old stock runs out. Don’t think that Brexit will help because most of the developed world is introducing bans on incandescent bulbs because they are so inefficient compared to LED. You might be able to import dodgy bulbs from China, but you will forever be replacing them as they burn out so quickly.I'm seriously considering going back to Halogen bulbs ...
