That said, tools found in obscure concealed places, probably years after they were lost, are fair game. I was talking to a guy at BAE in Barrow; his brother worked at Millom at a scrapyard that dismantles ships. They were cutting up an ex-Navy frigate and found an arc welder (the equipment, not the man!) sealed up in a compartment

I've heard of men being lost in ships years ago in the Belfast ship yard, normally welders, they would climb to there confined work location and someone would come later on and weld the point on entry up, end off

Double rings, 12 point. Britool by the bucket load one King Dick, some non snap on Americam brand and some Spanish ones.

it wasn't even me who lost it a young lad at work took it out of my tool bag

Probably the best reason not to loan out your tools. My brother is an awful one for borrowing tools and never returning them. He's still got a car battery charger of mine several years later. Thanks goodness he's never tried to borrow my torque wrenches.
