Has anyone got a plug for a remote foot control Lorch t220, I can only see ones for a tig torch on eBay
The place that sells the plug says my remote will have the wrong values for the Lorch So it's either ssc or tecarc tecarc is 250 Ssc is 190, which is best
what size pot does the Lorch take, out of interest? this thread might help, apparently a TE Connectivity/AMP 14 pin, although I'd check first https://www.mig-welding.co.uk/forum/threads/inside-a-handytig-200.78273/page-2
Hi, that´s where I bought mine: https://www.steckerladen.de/Rundste...gehaeuse-fuer-Stiftkontakte-14-polig::23.html You have to order the pins and strain-relief seperately!! Pots from 10-100k working fine for Lorch. Originally they use 100k.
A bit steep?? these things aren’t equal you know. A quality plug makes a secure fit and good contact. Cheap copies flop around and work loose. If you’ve bought a lorch then there is no reason to cheap out on the extras. Personally that pedal looks awful too. I’d be looking for something decent to use and get the best out of it.
It was lying around doing nothing so thought id have a look and see how much would be in it, but looks like for the sake of saving a few quid and a lot of flaffing aroundI will do as I said and get an ssc or a tecarc but which one is best? waiting on a water cooled torch arriving then ordering a new pump to rig up a cooler which is more important too me personally
SSC is a lot better. techarc pedals from my experience are pretty nasty things. @Gazello s pedals are even better again. He makes a very good job of them.
