Lorch M6030 Manual?

A friend just gave my lad an M6030. Does anyone know where we can get a manual in English for it?

I believe you need the model/serial number and a visit to the lorch site for a bit of web searching...you should be able to download it....

OK, I wrote to Lorch and they sent the (very brief) manual, in German. It doesn't identify the controls. Can anyone tell us what the lower left, 240V dial, lower setting would be for (with dots, as opposed to the continuous line in the upper position)? The welder works fine in the upper position, but not the lower position. And any thoughts on why it's not working in the lower position?

We understood it as 240v single phase to the left, 415v 3 phase to the right? It's the distinction between the single phase continuous line (top left) vs single phase dotted line (bottom left) that we don't understand.

The friend who gave it to us said it has spot weld function, so I guess maybe that's it? And yes, I believe it is just a switch to use 3 phase.

If it is spot weld, any suggestions on how to set it up correctly?!

If you take the cover off and look at the wires I think itll be obvious

I would guess the t dial adjusts the the seconds it welds for, try it no need to trigger off just keep squeezing that trigger

Aha - hence the dots before the t on the t-dial! We'll have a go.
