Loose tooth

Cant wait till 4.30 on Monday so i can get this loose back tooth ripped out...had tooth ache and swollen lymph gland on my lower jaw since before Xmas and has been going into my lug hole the last week...How can something so small give so much pain and grief? the tooth is not bad but the footings have given up the fight and its now loose

dont remind me the front ones are worse if you think the back ones are bad

try having a drink through a straw because the heat or cold sends that tooth into pain and right

the last back one i had popped out on the way back from scotland didnt half give me some gip about it and it was loose just wouldnt snap off the last bit of gum it was holding onto

I feel your pain, literally. Had an infection in the nerve a couple years back- bad enough but then the dentist messed up the anaesthetic and drilled into the tooth whilst it wasn’t numbed. I’m fairly sure had the assistant not been effectively pin being my arm down to reach over, idve knocked the dentist out of her chair. now got a terrible phobia of the dentist

I’ve a fair pain threshold but tooth pain floors me, and makes me horrendously bad tempered

A few years back I managed to bash a lower front tooth, not too painful, but very loose, Dentist stuck it to the two adjacent teeth for a few weeks and it was solid once again, Job done.

What did he use superglue?

Just before Christmas I was munching a jacket potatoe, a bit overdone, I eat the skins too, crack!

One of my front point teeth had become super wobbly. Argghh !

I've been being well careful ever since, with what I eat, and brushing, and it is firming up again.

incidentally, I really, really, really dislike dentists, I have to be near crying to go see one, grown man eh?

No, Wasn't super glue, something like a two part putty filly type thing, Just whacked on the back of three front lower teeth,

I though that shored up teeth.

We've got something similar, tiny tube, tiny amount, stops pain, mouth goes numb type stuff.

Can't remember the name,

Just dug through the meds draw.. Orajel, Benzocaine 10% !

Amazing stuff, over the counter, must order some more in case.

Soak a small gauze in clove oil, place on sore tooth & bite down, it will numb the tooth very quickly.

A warm salt water mouth rinse is also very effective in easing pain as well as killing infection.

Anyway @roofman try to drink something with at least 40%Vol alcohol content it usually works with me

Never had kidney pain, wife had kidney stones during pregnancy, and 80 year old lady neighbour reckoned it was worse than child birth.

I'll try to avoid both.

You can get stuff from the chemist to stick teeth or bits of teeth back in. My wife uses stuff called toofy pegs. It’s only meant to be a temp fix but she stuck her crown back on with it. Dentist decided to leave it as was, as it was stuck on better than what his glue would do.
