looking to purchase a new machine

Hi all

i have been welding for a few years but i have decided to replace my old machine (sip migmate from the 80`s)
i have about £300-£350 maybe a little more to spend on a new machine
i was thinking of either a clarke or a sealey model
eurocarparts have the supermig 180 with a benzil eurotorch
or do i go for a similar clarke model

does a eurotorch make any difference

opinions please

Changing the liner is much easier with a Eurotorch, also you can get different length torch/hose packages to suit the job, e.g. 2m for benchwork or 4m to reach under the car.

After speaking to Steve at weldequip i have purchased the GYS smartmig 162

hope i made the right choice

yes you made the right choice, I used to have one before my future brother in law borrowed it
a great little machine just one prob, its the earth cable to me its too short, got a great wire speed though
now ive got a hi-tech 180 mig inverter....
