For dry air you want a dessicant wheel type dehumidifier, not the fridge type. Basically you pass the dry air into your work space. The dessicant wheel is regenerated by a percentage of the dry air being reverse fed through the wheel out of the space to atmosphere.

Spot on. Dessicant dehumidifiers will work at low temperatures. I have one of these in my ~30m^2 workshop - it was pulling good amounts of moisture close to freezing point.
I stuck a couple of wet bikes and a car in with it - all were nice and dry in a couple of days. For the price of it I'm really happy - 2 year guarantee too.

Air con types only work down to freezing, then you just get an ice ball. As the humidty / moisture, goes from the vapour phase to the solid phase. To work the water wapour needs to condense on the cooling coil and drip off into a bucket.

I recommend Trotec dehumidifiers.
Some Trotec are still made in Germany; check out the factory recon models, which really give great bang for the buck.
The non-German made ones are produced in China, but with decent QC, according to them, and from what I see of them.

Hi what's the difference between a diesel space heater and a infrared diesel space heater. i borrowed a infrared diesel heater of a mate 20 kw to heat a 25 f by 16f garage with cavity walls and insulated metal roof after use i vented garage via 9ft front door and pedestrian side door so condensation didn't seem to be a issue. i'm only asking as the older i get the tighter i become and infrared heaters are about twice the price. thanks Dan

Combustion air and exhaust outside. It’s blown air but a gentle heat. Look online for hacks to increase output. It’s restricted I think for regs.
As above any burnt fuel will output vapour. I had a diesel burner and it was useless. Heat cone was unbearable. Outside the cone it was freezing and just increased condensation.
Also had a waste oil burner but that was too powerful for my workshop. It was a pretty dry heat mind.
