Thats was my next plan.
Been looking at cheap ratchet spanners on ebay as I dont have any old ones I dont use.
10mm are ok but the 16mm are dearer.
Cut them down & weld them up.
To be honest ratchet spanner is prob going to far any way so two ring spanner would do.

I was thinking 2 sockets back to back with a hex in the middle for a ratchet spanner lol
I did consider two sockets but with a standard ratchet but dropped it for two reasons.
1, Size as you need a ratchet as well as the double socket which would also be big & the plan is to fit it in to case it came in.
2, working out the drive.
With your method you will need the ratchet spanners with the toggle switch so you can reverse it rather than flip it over.

I'd be looking for two cheap spanners (fine toothed for ease of use but unlikely to fail, it's not like flaring pipes is hard work) and just weld them together. Easy...
